On the afternoon of November 14th, JUNIOR ANTONIOGIMO, director of Mozambique Electric Power Company, and CALIMAMS NHAMPULE EMERALDAMARIA AGOSTINHO, the leader of technique department, visited the headquarters of Zhonggang Construction Group Co.,Ltd in Suzhou. The chairman of Zhonggang Construction Group Co.,Ltd, Chengbing, had extensive communication with ANTONIOGIMO. Chairman Lu Xuhong and business assistant ZEFANIASROBERTY PAULINO, who come from Mozambique Ming Resources Co.,Ltd., general manager Zhang Zhaojun, general manager assistant Zhao Lili, who come from Qinghua (Mozambique) Investment Co., Ltd., general manager Qin Keding, general manager of Finance Management Department, Meng Yin, general manager of Integrated Management Department, Zhu Wangxing, general manager of Logistics Purchasing Department, Jiang Yanjuan and secretary of chairman, Xu Cheng, who all come from Zhonggang Construction Group Co.,Ltd (Hong Kong) attended the event.
Chairman Cheng Bing welcomed the visiting leaders of Mozambique Electric Power Company to Zhonggang Construction Group Co.,Ltd. He introduced the thirty-year-development, current situation and future plan of Zhonggang Construction Group Co.,Ltd to guests. Our group is actively making innovations. On the one hand, we are strengthening our original main business, taking engineering finance as the guidance, and giving full play to the advantages of private capital. We are investing in large scale PPP projects for the benefit of the country and people. On the other hand, we are making efforts to open up the international market. Guided by the policy of "one belt and one road", we have accumulated many high-quality projects in the energy industry of Africa, Southeast Asia and other countries.
General manager, Qin Keding introduced the basic situation and progress of the Mozambique project to guests. He hoped that Mozambique Electric Power Company could provide support in project declaration, approval and policy guidance with the deepening development of the project.
JUNIOR ANTONIOGIMO thanked Zhonggang Construction Group Co.,Ltd. for our warm reception. He attached great importance to the invested projects of Zhonggang Construction Group Co.,Ltd. in Mozambique. He would pay close attention to the progress of these projects and provide strong support for the investment of Zhonggang Construction Group Co.,Ltd. in Mozambique. Finally, he said more Chinese enterprises were welcome to invest in Mozambique.
From November 15th to 16th, Chairman Cheng Bing and general manager Qin Keding accompanied JUNIOR ANTONIOGIMO, director of Mozambique Electric Power Company, CALIMAMS NHAMPULEEMERALDAMARIA AGOSTINHO, leader of technique department, chairman Lu Xuhong and business assistant ZEFANIASROBERTY PAULINO of Mozambique Mining Resources Co., Ltd. to investigate the Three Gorges hydropower Station and Huarun Xiaoting 2x350MW heat and power plant.
The Three Gorges Hydropower Station is equipped with 32 hydro-generating units with a single unit capacity of 700,000 kWh (including 6 hydro-generating units in underground powerhouse), plus two hydro-generating units with a single unit capacity of 50,000 kWh. The total installed capacity is 22.5 million kWh, with an annual generating capacity of 100 billion kWh, which is the largest hydro-power station in the world.
China Resources Electric Power (Yichang) Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of CR Power Co., Ltd. which belongs to Hong Kong China Resources Group, which was established on June 28th, 2011. The project is located in Xiaoting Industrial Park, Yichang. The first phase of the project is to build 2×350MW supercritical coal-fired heating unit and simultaneously build desulfurization and denitrification units, and reserve expansion conditions. Project #1 and #2 units have been put into operation on March 5th, 2014 and May 25th, 2014 respectively. They supplied heat to enterprises in the park on June 10th, 2014.
